Escape the crowded stone stairs and join Global Compass Travels on an exclusive journey consisting of narrow, winding trails. Our 6-day Mardi Himal Base Camp Trek is a short-duration adventure in the Annapurna region, offering close-up views of the Machhapuchhre Himal (Fishtail Mountain) and the adventurous ridge-walking experience.

The journey transitions from lush, rhododendron and oak forests to the high-alpine terrain of the Mardi Himal ridge. Compared to other Annapurna region treks, the Mardi Himal Base Camp Trek offers a sense of solitude and a unique perspective of the mountains. Through most of your journey, you stay high above the valleys, enjoying the unobstructed views of the Annapurna Massif and the iconic Machhapuchhre.

Upon reaching the 4,450-meter Mardi Himal Base Camp, you will enjoy the ultimate highlight of this trek. You will stand directly beneath the towering south face of Machhapuchhre and enjoy the vast Himalayan landscape.

This is an ideal trek for both seasoned trekkers and first-timers. You will find a balance of physical challenges and natural beauty.
